She currently serves as Director of Government Affairs/Public Policy and Co-Chair of NSSC’s Policy Action Committee.
Legislative Strategy & Public Relations Her career began on Capitol Hill as a lobbyist and included roles with the U.S. State Department and legislative analysis for the U.S. Senate. She later created and managed the Public Relations department for Quill Corporation, authoring seven business manuals. Linda has been a featured speaker at national policy events, including Capitol Hill Briefings on SMI treatment barriers and the Center Forward Capitol Hill Healthcare Summit. Advocacy & Research An accomplished writer, Linda’s commentaries on the criminalization of serious brain disorders have been widely published. She earned her MPP in Public Policy from Duke University and established the Lawrence Fund for SMI Advocacy Internships at Lawrence University. Linda previously served as Vice Chair of the Schizophrenia & Psychosis Action Alliance and remains an active member in the California Coalition for CARE/Grave Disability Workgroup. |
