National Strategic Leadership
NSSC was founded to help build a Standard of Care for every American living with severe mental illness—one that recognizes these conditions as serious brain diseases and ensures individuals and families have access to appropriate medical care, education, and support. Our multidisciplinary volunteer coalition brings together clinical professionals, legal and policy experts, and people with lived and family experience to turn knowledge and shared experience into practical resources, stronger systems of care, and meaningful change.
