The NSSC is dedicated to providing support to its members. Whether you have lost a loved one due to circumstances related to SMI, are a current caregiver, or have lived experience, there is a support group to fit your needs. All support groups are confidential and aim to foster a sense of community and mutual support among members, improving the mental and emotional well-being of participants.

Replanting LivesFor those who want healthier relationships with family members, professionals and those with SMIs. While this group is designed for caregivers, please note that both parents and working professionals are welcome too.
New group coming this spring. Survivors of LossFor parents and caregivers who have lost a loved one to the circumstances of severe mental illness. This support group is intended to foster support, a sense of peace and hope, and transform despair into empowerment.
Our Bereaved Parents Group meets the third Saturday of every month at 2:30 to 4:30 PM Pacific / 5:30 - 7:30 PM Eastern. |
Success CircleFor families and loved ones to come together and share their stories of success—whether major breakthroughs or small but meaningful steps forward. Members are invited to reflect on moments of healing, offer encouragement, and learn from one another’s lived experiences.
Zoom support groups take place on the third Tuesday of each month at 4 PM Pacific/ 7 PM Eastern. The Hidden SentenceFor families of incarcerated loved ones. The Hidden Sentence offers a safe space for open discussion, facilitating acceptance and understanding.

SMI CaregiversFor caregivers of individuals living with a severe mental illness face unique and often isolating challenges.
Our caregiver support group is held on the 3rd Monday of every month at 4 PM Pacific/ 7 PM Eastern. The ANchorFor families and friends supporting loved ones with severe mental illness.
The Anchor Support Group meets the third Tuesday of every month at 5 - 6 PM Pacific/ 8 - 9 PM Eastern. |
