claim your seat at the table

We recognize that the most profound insights into the SMI crisis don't come from textbooks—they come from the
front lines of lived experience.

We are building the national infrastructure to ensure that those living with no-fault brain disorders are integral in driving
the evolution of medical accountability. Your perspective is not just a story; it is the Expert Intelligence required to
architect a mandate for the compassionate treatment you deserve.

It is far past time for you to be truly seen, truly heard, and truly understood.
Claim your seat at the table and help us shatter the silence.

from perspective to power

NSSC is not a top-down organization; we are a coalition fueled by the expert intelligence of those who have survived the system. We are inviting you to pull up a chair to our SMI Peer Alliance Working Group and/or enlisting as a National Advocacy Ambassador.

This is a formal seat at the table where your lived experience translates into legislative action, policy shifts,
and systemic reform.

The evidence of experience

NSSC is architecting a national mandate for medical accountability, and your voice is the most critical piece of the framework. We are gathering the raw, clinical truths of those who have survived the system to arm our leaders with the forensic evidence needed to break through legislative apathy.
Submit a "Truth"

Provide a high-impact quote (max 50 words) that captures the reality of brain disease or the "Lifeline" of treatment to fuel our social media and awareness campaigns.

Submit a Truth →
Submit a "Perspective"

We are seeking longer-form papers (500–1,000 words) for formal publication and legislative briefings to drive a national mandate for medical accountability.

Submit a Perspective →

"An involuntary plan for someone gravely disabled is not punishment—it’s a lifeline. It restores stability, safety, and ultimately, autonomy. If I ever get that way again, please take away my rights.
I don’t want to die.
"
