PEER-AUthored Guide to Psychosis + Psychotic Illnesses

Picture
Many of our loved ones struggle with psychosis or a psychotic illness. Our own member, peer, and author Darrell Herrmann wrote a comprehensive guide to help those who have an illness, and those who care for those who have a psychotic illness.

Inside this six-page handguide, Darrell explains psychosis, anosognosia, and psychotic illnesses' symptoms in layman's terms. Anti-psychiatry, recovery, and successful treatment methods are also discussed.

We recommend if you're looking for answers regarding these matters, that you check out the flipbook format of the guide, or download the PDF below. No sign-up required.

Many caregivers to those with a Serious Mental Illness struggle with navigating the mental healthcare and criminal justice systems. Our own NSSC members, directors, and caregivers wrote a comprehensive guide to help those caring for ones who have an SMI.

Inside this five-page handguide, caregiver elements are explained in layman's terms. Dynamics of HIPAA (Health Information Privacy Accountability Act), avoiding and navigating criminalization of loved ones, and other pertinent information are discussed.

We recommend if you're looking for answers regarding these matters, that you check out the flipbook format of the guide, or download the PDF below. No sign-up required.
