Join a support group for caregivers (parents and professionals included) of loved ones, and loved ones living with a serious mental illness, offering a safe and confidential environment for sharing experiences & challenges. In this 16-week program, every stand-alone session is offered to those who love someone who has a severe mental illness/severe brain disease. This group focuses on different aspects of caregiving, being a family member, and safety. Group facilitated by Mara Briere, a Certified Family Life Educator with experience as a family member. A support group where members share the experience of having - and learning to cope with - symptoms of psychosis. This group will offer a safe community in which you can openly discuss your symptoms and feel confident that you will be understood. This group will be facilitated by NSSC member Kristen Herrmann.
